Mahboud Zabetian - Chairman
Mr. Zabetian served as President and CEO of WildPackets for 10 Years before taking the role of Chairman. Prior to founding WildPackets, Inc., Mr. Zabetian held several different technical roles at Princeton University, Kinetics, Excelan and Novell where he developed a number of network management, performance and productivity tools including the EtherPeek program. He was also Founder and Chairman of Timestamp.com. Mr. Zabetian came to the U.S. from Iran and received his EECS degree from Princeton University with a special interest in computer networking.
Timothy David McCreery - President & CEO, WildPackets
Mr. McCreery has over 25 years of experience in the networking industry. He co-founded WildPackets, Inc. as AG Group in 1990. His past positions include Founder and President of Kinetics, Founder and CEO of SilkStream Corporation, and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Excelan, Inc. Mr. McCreery has also been on the board of other start-ups including Clear Ink Corp. and Tut Systems. Mr. McCreery is also President of the Board of Youth Homes, Inc., a non-profit agency serving at-risk foster care children in Contra Costa County. Mr. McCreery graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science and Psychology. He taught undergraduate Computer Science at U. C. Berkeley while obtaining a Master's degree in EECS.
Lawrence A. Zulch - Advisor
Most recently, Mr. Zulch was Vice President and General Manager, EMC Insignia, at EMC Corporation. He was responsible for EMC Insignia’s business, product direction, and strategy for delivering software and hardware information management and storage products to small and medium businesses through EMC’s channel partners. Mr. Zulch was a member of EMC’s Strategic Steering Committee under the direction of EMC’s CDO, Mark Lewis.
Prior to EMC, Mr. Zulch co-founded Dantz Development Corp. in 1984 and served as its Chief Executive Officer for 20 years until Dantz was acquired by EMC in October 2004. Under Mr. Zulch's direction as CEO, Dantz became a leader in backup and restore software for SMBs. The award-winning Retrospect product family protects millions of computers worldwide by providing best-in-class data protection for servers, desktops, notebooks, and business-critical applications.
In addition to WildPackets, Mr. Zulch serves on the board of directors of Freerange Communications, Inc., and is on the advisory boards of Halaboo, Inc. and Edioma, Inc. Previously, Mr. Zulch served on the boards of Fabrik Communications and NeoLogic Systems.
Mr. Zulch received a BA in Economics from the University of California, Davis.
