Cisco Int'l. Rolls Out Wildpackets' Net Management Tool Set for EMEA Professional Services and CENS Partners in Athens October 17th

CENS Partners will be introduced to EtherPeek, NetSense, iNetTools in special PS Enabled Enterprise Partner Meeting Breakout Session

WALNUT CREEK, California and The Netherlands - October 11, 2000

Last year, Cisco Systems International and WildPackets, Inc., formerly known as AG Group, Inc., entered into a site-license agreement for use of WildPackets' Windows-based network management tools. The license provided EtherPeek, TokenPeek, NetSense, iNetTools and other products to all Cisco network consulting engineers in the National Supported Accounts (NSA) and Critical Accounts Program (CAP) as well as the company's UK-based Professional Services Division. The tools were also incorporated into network management solution bundles for partners participating in the Professional Services Cisco Enabled Network Solutions (CENS) Program.

The CENS Program was developed to enhance Cisco's PS partners' ability to sell and deliver service solutions for Cisco leading-edge technology. Partners participating in the CENS program are trained in recommended solutions and provisioned with support processes and backup assistance. The program expedites the delivery of advanced network deployment services to the market, providing the partners' end-users assurance of a successful implementation.

Cisco EMEA Professional Services will officially roll out the CENS WildPackets Program at its Professional Services Partner Business Meeting in Athens, Greece on October 17th. A key breakout session will be presented by Richard Buchanan, CENS Program Manager. The session, entitled "PS Partner Enabled Enterprise Services," will be a forum for demonstrating WildPackets' tools and how to optimize their use for analyzing and setting performance standards for their own and clients' networking environments.

According to Richard Buchanan,"Demand for network assessments and network performance services has expanded rapidly in the EMEA market. Enterprise networking is about more than connectivity. Network stability and overall network performance are now decisive competitive metrics. With this in mind, we need tools which provide our Professional Services partners with real-time, multiple views of network traffic and the ability to do strong analysis work in support of other Cisco network analysis tools. WildPackets' EtherPeek, NetSense and other complementary tools meet all of our requirements."

Mahboud Zabetian, President and CEO of WildPackets and Timothy McCreery, Executive Director for the company, will attend the Athens event to meet CENS Partners and to join in on the roll out of the CENS Program. They will also take advantage of the event to broadcast the imminent availability of a driver for the Cisco 340 series of PC cards that will allow for the capture, identification and decoding of 802.11b wireless packets.

WildPackets will be the first to market with an 802.11b packet analyzer for the Cisco Aironet cards when it releases new drivers for EtherPeek, its popular packet analyzer, in the fourth quarter.
