WildPackets Releases AiroPeek Wireless Packet Analyzer

v1.0 preliminary release fullfills promise to ship comprehensive, affordable wireless network analysis solution by year's end

WALNUT CREEK, California - December 22, 2000

WildPackets, Inc., a leading provider of cross-platform software tools that deliver real-time, strategic information about an organization's network and Internet presence, today shipped a full-functioning preliminary release version of their new windows-based wireless packet analyzer, AiroPeek.

With the release of AiroPeek, WildPackets fulfills its promise to produce and ship a comprehensive and affordable packet analysis solution to support 802.11b headers and control information as well as other 802.11b-specific features before year's end.

AiroPeek currently supports Cisco Systems' Aironet wireless LAN products and will soon add support for Symbol Technologies' Spectrum24 High Rate wireless LAN solutions.

System Requirements

AiroPeek is a Windows-based tool that operates under Win95/98/NT/2000 and ME. AiroPeek v1.0 requires the installation of a special NDIS driver for the Cisco 340 series 11Mbps DSSS PC Card.
