WALNUT CREEK, California and SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - March 19, 2001

WildPackets Inc. today announced that their industry-leading AiroPeek 802.11b wireless and EtherPeek ethernet protocol analyzers will be featured instructional tools during the BrainShare conference in Salt Lake City March 18-23. EtherPeek, AiroPeek and other WildPackets products will be the key training tools utilized in the "Onsite: Troubleshooting at the Packet-Level" Webcast presented by Laura Chappell, and will enjoy prominent coverage in several Novell TV spots broadcast during the weeklong event. WildPackets' network analysis tools have also been selected as "Preferred Products" for Ms. Chappell's Lab Kit CD, which will be distributed to all attendees of her BrainShare 2001 hands-on training sessions.

Laura Chappell, founder of the Protocol Analysis Institute, teaches networking professionals in hands-on analysis labs at her popular BrainShare conferences. Held under the auspices of Novell Inc., BrainShare will be held in seven cities around the world in 2001, beginning with Salt Lake City. On Thursday, March 22, WildPackets will be the featured vendor in a Webcast Chappell has designed for NetWare Users International. She will cover the spectrum of network analysis tasks, solutions and tools from switched networks to 802.11b wireless, and areas to prepare for as the world of TCP/IP communication matures.

Demonstration versions of WildPackets' EtherPeek, AiroPeek, TokenPeek, NetSense, NetDoppler, ProConvert, iNetTools and Packet Scrubber are included on a Lab Kit CD distributed to the 10,000 engineers and network administrators expected to attend Ms. Chappell's BrainShare sessions.
