AiroPeek™ Featured At Ciscowave & Networkers, Tokyo

Exhibit Is Latest In Series Of WildPackets Product Introductions In Japan

Walnut Creek, California - April 9, 2001

WildPackets Inc., developers of EtherPeek, today announced that they will be joining their Japanese distributor, DIT Company, Ltd. to present AiroPeek, the industry's first comprehensive, affordable wireless LAN analyzer, to a large network of Cisco Resellers at the CiscoWave & Networkers event April 11-13 in Tokyo. CiscoWave is a Cisco-sponsored event focused on Internet and network design and troubleshooting.

Earlier this year, WildPackets was represented in DIT booths at MacWorld Tokyo and Net&Com Tokyo, demonstrating a pre-release version of AiroPeek. "Japan has more 802.11b channels than the U.S., and AiroPeek defined them all with no problem," stated Dan Ridley, WildPackets' International Business Development Director. "The response to the preliminary version was fantastic, and the CiscoWave & Networkers event will be an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the full release product to a broad Cisco dealer community." DIT is targeting a large sales volume for AiroPeek units this year through its direct sales efforts to Cisco dealers and users
