NetConverge Solutions Ltd. to Represent WildPackets Inc. Throughout EMEA Region

Newly-formed Group of Ex-Cisco Professional Service Staff to Take WildPackets' Products to the Enterprise

Walnut Creek, California - June 20, 2001

WildPackets Inc., developers of AiroPeek™, EtherPeek™ and a full suite of comprehensive, affordable network and internet management tools, today announced that NetConverge Solutions Ltd., a convergence consulting company comprised of former employees of the Cisco EMEA PS CENS (Cisco Enabled Network Solutions) and Enterprise IPT team, is now actively representing WildPackets' products to their strategic, enterprise-level clients throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

NetConverge Solutions was formed as a Professional Services Convergence Consulting company to assist EMEA Enterprise customers in the planning, design, and implementation of their convergence solutions. "Demand for network performance services and voice capability assessments in the emerging convergence technologies of IP Telephony, Wireless, IP TV, and Content Delivery Networking has expanded rapidly in the EMEA market," states Richard Buchanan, NetConverge Solutions Director. "In order to provide compleat services to our enterprise clients, we needed a standardized set of tools that can deliver real-time, multiple views of network traffic and strong analysis features. WildPackets' set of network management tools offers the ease of use, standardization, and multi-vendor analysis capability that is so critical when doing network performance and capability assessments."

In addition to using the products for their consulting work, NetConverge Consultants will be identifying opportunities for licensed sales of WildPackets network management tools within enterprise customer organizations. They will then work closely with established WildPackets distribution channels to provide the software to their clients.
