WildPackets Partners With SysKonnect

WildPackets to Resell Network Cards to Enable Gigabit Protocol Analysis

Walnut Creek, California - September 6, 2001

WildPackets Inc., developers of EtherPeek, AiroPeek and other comprehensive, affordable network and Internet management tools, today announced a partnering agreement with SysKonnect, an international supplier of high-end network products. WildPackets is offering SysKonnect's high-performance Gigabit Ethernet adapters in an EtherPeek bundle, in order to address the network management requirements of enterprise customers. SysKonnect GE adapters are available for both copper and fiber, in single or dual port configurations.

"SysKonnect is very excited about a partnership with a company as progressive as WildPackets. There is a strong fit between our products. Together, we are offering a best-of-breed solution to a growing market," states Jonathan Albin, Director of Channel Marketing. "Our tests indicate that the SysKonnect Gigabit NICs are the highest performing cards on the market," said Brant Cooper, WildPackets Director of Product Management. "By combining EtherPeek with a SysKonnect NIC, customers have a powerful and cost-effective tool for analyzing their gigabit segments."

About EtherPeek

EtherPeek sets the industry standard for ease-of-use while delivering superior diagnostic and analysis capabilities at an affordable price. Key features include real-time and post-capture packet filtering; plug-ins for expert packet analysis; powerful, real-time decoding with support for all major protocol suites; node, protocol, address, conversation, and filtered packet monitoring statistics; a summary statistics window for baselining key traffic elements; flexible triggers and alarms, and more. iNetTools IP test utility suite and EtherHelp distributed packet capture application are included in the purchase price. A free Code Red Detection plug-in for EtherPeek for Windows was released earlier this month, and is available for downloading from a link on the home page.

Multi-user site license discounts available. Maintenance owners receive all product upgrades for free. WildPackets product bundles offer significant savings over single product license purchases. EtherPeek v 4.2 is available through our domestic and international partners, located through our Partners pages at http://www.wildpackets.com/partners/, through sales@wildpackets.com, and via our on-line store at http://www.wildpackets.com/products.
