WildPackets to Host Free Mac OS X Protocol Analysis Training During Macworld Expo in January

Walnut Creek, California - November 26, 2001

WildPackets Inc., developers of a family of affordable, accessible network and Internet management tools, today announced plans to host four free Mac OS X protocol analysis training sessions during the Macworld Expo in San Francisco. Two sessions a day will be offered on January 9 and 10 at the Argent Hotel, located within a few blocks of the Moscone Center which houses the Expo.

Attendees of the WildPackets trainings will learn to effectively design, implement, and troubleshoot OS X and AppleTalk infrastructures by deciphering the protocol behaviors that underlie Apple network communications. Participants will also learn about the core protocol functions of OS X and AppleTalk, and will see these protocols in action with EtherPeek for Mac OS X. A panel of industry training experts will complete the session.
