WildPackets Releases WebStats™ for EtherPeek NX™

Web Site Analysis Module Also Updated for EtherPeek™ for Windows

WildPackets Inc., leading developers of a complete family of network and Internet management tools, announced the release of WebStats for EtherPeek NX, and a WebStats update for EtherPeek for Windows. WebStats is an add-on Analysis Module that takes advantage of WildPackets' patented packet-streaming architecture to collect and deliver key statistics on real-time, periodic, or historical web site traffic. The gathered data can then be used to identify the most-visited web pages and traffic sources, and to pinpoint problems as they occur.

WebStats is a flexible and highly-configurable add-in tool for delivering key information needed to improve customer acquisition, optimize content placement, and analyze the effectiveness of web implementations.

WebStats collects data on TCP streams and displays the results in EtherPeek or EtherPeek NX. WebStats can trigger on specified web-based events, send notifications, output data to a user-defined log file, and write data to HTML or comma-delimited files at defined intervals.

WebStats System Requirements and Pricing

WebStats requires EtherPeek for Windows version 4.2.x, or EtherPeek NX. Microsoft IE 5.0 or later is needed for XML or HTML reporting/saving features. A 400 MHz Pentium II with 128 MB memory is the minimum system requirement; a 600 MHz Pentium II with 256 MB memory or better is recommended. WebStats' SRP is $595.00.
