VP to Lead Team Focused on Global Partner Network

Walnut Creek, CA - August 19, 2002

WildPackets Inc., leading developers of award-winning, expert network management tools, announced that Mr. Robert Siegel has joined WildPackets as Vice President of International Sales. This is the second time Mr. Siegel has held an international sales position with the company, having served as the Director of International Business for the 1990 AG Group startup (renamed WildPackets, Inc. in 2000). Siegel's key strengths lie in his knowledge of the company coupled with 25+ years of sales management experience in global markets.

"We're delighted to have Bob back with us as we navigate the challenges associated with the tremendous growth in product and professional services sales, and strategic business development opportunities identified by our international channel partners. His combined knowledge of the networking industry and international markets makes him an effective addition to the WildPackets management team," says Mahboud Zabetian, WildPackets' President and CEO.

Mr. Siegel has held successful international sales and business development positions for Kinetics, Excelan, Novell, and Tut Systems, and has lived in Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
