WildPackets Appoints South Korea Country Manager

Position to Locally Direct Business Development Efforts through Fast-Growing Partner Base

Walnut Creek, CA - February 14, 2003

WildPackets Inc., developers of leading-edge EtherPeek NX and AiroPeek NX expert network analyzers, announced the appointment of a Country Manager for South Korea to provide local support for, and develop business through, a rapidly-expanding channel partner base. Mr. Kevin Chae, an industry veteran, will work with WildPackets' partners to implement marketing and sales plans for the company in the region.

South Korea offers considerable opportunity for the widespread deployment of LAN management tools, given its high broadband penetration per capita. With an estimated 100,000 Internet cafes, WLAN management requirements also are expected to come quickly to the fore. WildPackets' solutions enable IT professionals to insure optimal design and management of their wired and wireless LANs.

Mr. Chae, who is based in Seoul, formerly held sales and marketing positions with TriGem, CMS Korea, and Softbank Korea.
