WildPackets Launches RFGrabber™ Beta Program

Hundreds Sign up to Test New Distributed WLAN Analysis Solution

Walnut Creek, CA - April 8, 2003

WildPackets Inc., innovators in affordable network analysis solutions, began shipping pre-release versions of their new remote wireless LAN analysis solution, RFGrabber, to a sample group chosen from hundreds of beta program registrants. RFGrabber remote wireless probe and AiroPeek NX v2.0 WLAN analyzer allow IT Professionals to remotely and expertly analyze WLAN segments from a central location. The products are scheduled for full release in mid-May.

The RFGrabber Enterprise Solution

The RFGrabber Enterprise Solution includes the RFGrabber Probe and AiroPeek NX v2.0. The RFGrabber Probe gathers 802.11b wireless network traffic. AiroPeek NX receives traffic from one or multiple probes and performs Expert analysis, in real-time, on remote segments. RFGrabber can filter for management, control, and data traffic, and allows you to remotely troubleshoot WLAN applications. With RFGrabber, IT managers can check signal strength, scan for rogue access points (APs), verify security policy adherence, monitor client connectivity, and gauge WLAN and AP usage. The Enterprise Solution Bundle, which includes AiroPeek NX v2.0 and 4 RFGrabber Probes, has an Introductory SRP of $5,499.00 until June 30th.

WildPackets has created a program to pre-sell the RFGrabber Solution. From April 1 through June 30, 2003, special promotional pricing is available for new purchases of the Enterprise Solution.
