WildPackets Releases New Agere Systems Drivers for AiroPeek

WildPackets Technology Now Included in Agere's Software Drivers for Wireless Networking Solutions

Walnut Creek, CA - April 9, 2003

WildPackets Inc., innovators in affordable network analysis solutions, announced upgraded driver support for wireless NICs that utilize Agere Systems' (NYSE: AGR.A, AGR.B) leading edge WaveLAN® 802.11 wireless technology. This development adds to a broad complement of supported wireless cards for WildPackets' AiroPeek product line. Agere drivers for AiroPeek provide support for Windows 2000 and XP operating systems.

These drivers are an upgrade to WildPackets' drivers that ship with AiroPeek and AiroPeek NX currently. New features include Wake on LAN (WOL) functionality for the PCI adapter, and improved AP access and power management firmware support embedded in the driver.
