WildPackets Launches Developer Network (WPDN)

Tools and Forums Help User Community Extend and Customize Omni and Peek Applications

Walnut Creek, California, October 4, 2005 – WildPackets Inc., innovators in advanced network analysis, today announced a new service and web site, the WildPackets Developer Network (WPDN). Hosted by WildPackets’ Professional Services, the WPDN web site provides tools, tips, and documentation for the community of Peek technology adopters building upon the powerful and flexible nature of the WildPackets Architecture.

WildPackets offers Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Software Developer Kits (SDKs), and extensibility tools to support developers in integrating data from WildPackets award-winning software into their own unique network analysis applications and processes. The tools available via the WPDN also enable the extension of WildPackets feature-rich analysis software so customers can tailor the applications to meet their business needs. Specifically, these tools enable developers to control, access, or exchange data with, or extend the functionality of, any WildPackets product. SDKs are available for Peek application distributed engines, decoders, and plug-ins.
