WildPackets Launches OmniPeek Personal

Powerful Subset of Commercial Product Now Available For Individuals

Walnut Creek, California, June 19, 2006 – WildPackets Inc., innovators in advanced network analysis, today announced it has launched OmniPeek™ Personal, the first commercially developed Expert network analyzer available free for personal use. OmniPeek Personal gives individual users the chance to experience the power and extensibility of WildPackets’ award-winning network analysis technology at no cost.

OmniPeek Personal offers:

• Change filters on the fly without having to stop and restart packet captures
• View packet-stream based analytics by conversation pair, instantly locating network events, such as SQL queries and DoS attacks

OmniPeek Personal is a free version of the OmniPeek Analyzer, the portable network analyzer included in the OmniAnalysis Platform. OmniPeek Personal runs on Windows and is available for download at a new WildPackets web site, www.omnipeek.com. A standard support and maintenance option is also available online.

Free Plug-ins Extend OmniPeek’s Functionality

WildPackets products, including OmniPeek Personal, are unique in the world of commercial network analysis products in featuring an open API and SDK that enables users to extend the functionality of the product through custom plug-ins.
