Enterasys Standardizes on WildPackets for Network Analysis in Field Services, Testing, and Development

WildPackets OmniPeek Provides the Detailed Network Analysis Other Tools Lack

Walnut Creek, California, May 9, 2007 – WildPackets® Inc., innovators in advanced network analysis, today announced that Enterasys Networks®, the Secure Networks Company™, has standardized on WildPackets OmniPeek network analyzer for its technical support, testing, and engineering operations. OmniPeek enables Enterasys engineers to capture and analyze wireless and wired traffic running on Enterasys products, such as the RoamAbout® product line of access points, routers, and switches. The OmniPeek analyzer provides Expert analysis, automatically diagnosing common networking problems. It also provides timing graphs, conversation analysis, and network performance analytics. OmniPeek runs on Windows systems, including laptops that field service personnel can use on customer premises.
