WildPackets and Gigamon Partner to Provide Complete Troubleshooting and Analysis Coverage for 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) Networks

First solution to deliver unlimited full line-rate analysis

Walnut Creek, Calif. – April 29, 2008 – WildPackets® Inc., a leading provider of network and application analysis solutions, and Gigamon, manufacturer of the GigaVUE family of Data Access Switches, today announced a technology and reseller partnership. Under the agreement, WildPackets will offer a combined solution that leverages intelligent pattern match filtering in Gigamon’s GigaVUE data access switch with Omnipliance, WildPackets’ Distributed Network Recorder, to provide organizations the control needed to analyze and optimize 10GbE deployments.

Though 10GbE provides ample bandwidth to handle increasing network loads and various services, like any other network it needs to be properly managed, monitored and secured. The WildPackets and Gigamon solution brings real-time visibility and expert analysis to 10GbE networks.
