WildPackets' OmniPeek and OmniEngine Now Rated "Avaya Compliant"

WildPackets' VoIP analysis applications are compatible with key Avaya IP telephony solutions

WALNUT CREEK, CALIF - November 3, 2009 – WildPackets, Inc. (www.wildpackets.com), a leading provider of network and application performance analysis solutions, today announced that OmniPeek Enterprise, the award-winning network analyzer, and OmniEngine Enterprise, which performs real-time network analysis on traffic from one or more network interfaces, are compliant with key Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) solutions from Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.

Both OmniPeek and OmniEngine are part of WildPackets' OmniPeek Distributed Analysis Suite, which gives network engineers real-time visibility into every part of the network simultaneously from a single interface, including Ethernet, Gigabit, 10 Gigabit, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, VoIP, Video, and WAN links to remote offices. The applications now are compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura™ Communication Manager. OmniPeek and OmniEngine provide analysis on the VoIP call signaling and RTP flows from Avaya IP Telephones for monitoring and troubleshooting quality of calls placed across the network.
