WildPackets Achieves ArubaEdge Certified Partner Status from Aruba Networks

Integration allows network engineers to rapidly identify, quantify and analyze both common and out-of-the-ordinary wireless network issues

Walnut Creek, Calif. – October 3, 2011 – WildPackets, Inc., a leading provider of network and application performance analysis solutions, today announced that its OmniPeek Enterprise Wireless LAN Analyzer has been certified as interoperable under Aruba Networks' ArubaEdge certification program.

The ArubaEdge program fosters, certifies, and promotes interoperable mobility solutions from an ecosystem of technology partners such as WildPackets. Leveraging the Aruba Mobile Virtual Enterprise (MOVE) architecture, members of this ecosystem of top-tier suppliers, including WildPackets, share a forward-looking vision of secure mobility, a commitment to customer service and a focus on device interoperability.

WildPackets and Aruba worked together to develop an integrated solution through which Aruba wireless access points feed 802.11 packet captures directly into WildPackets OmniPeek software. The seamless integration allows network engineers to identify, quantify and analyze both common and out-of-the-ordinary wireless network issues. With this solution, packet captures can be started the instant a problem is reported to solve critical network problems as they occur.
