OmniPeek Enterprise Connect allows users to configure and connect to the remote locations across the network. Using OmniEngines to capture and analyze data and OmniPeek Enterprise Connect to view real-time results, network engineers can rapidly troubleshoot faults-even faults occurring at remote locations. OmniPeek Enterprise Connect allows post capture local analysis and supports all network topologies -Ethernet, Wireless, Gigabit, 10 Gigabit, and WAN.

OmniPeek Enterprise provides centralized expert analysis for all networks under management. The following options are available to improve the performance of the Omnipliance Portable:

OmniAdapters

The OmniAdapter is a PCI-X card that supports up to 2 full-duplex or 4 half-duplex connections. Taking advantage of a PCI-X bus that clocks up to 133 MHz, the OmniAdapter provides high-performance connectivity for monitoring and troubleshooting Gigabit networks.

The OmniAdapter is available in four different configurations with interchangeable SFPs or fixed 10/100/1000 RJ45 connectors:

• Four SFP cages
• Four RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T ports
• Two RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T ports and two SFP cages
• Four SFP cages for 1000Base-SX or 1000Base-LX optical Ethernet, and one RJ45 port for 1000Base-T copper

OmniAdapters 10G

With the OmniPeek Product Family, WildPackets extends its industry leading distributed analysis technology to the world of high-speed, 10 Gigabit networks.

OmniEngine Enterprise and OmniPeek support WildPackets’ OmniAdapter 10G, hardware specifically designed to handle 10 Gigabit traffic analysis. Capturing 10 Gigabit network traffic, it can slice and filter packets in order to focus the traffic stream and optimize analysis. The OmniAdapter 10G can be used in fiber, or via SPAN or mirror ports.

WildPackets’ OmniAdapter 10G is a high performance one-port adapter that has been optimized for monitoring and inspecting traffic on 10 Gigabit Ethernet network. OmniAdapter 10G is available in PCI-X or PCI-E with 1x850nm MFF XFP or; 1x1310nm SMF XFP optical transceivers with LC connectors.
