Course Synopsis:
This is the first in a series of courses designed to provide students with experience in the computer-networking field. This course covers; OSI model and industry standards, Network topologies, IP addressing, including subnet masks, Networking components.
Overview and Method
This course introduces students to the OmniPeek networking technology in conjunction with methodologies for network management and troubleshooting. Through a combination of lecture and in-class activities, students will learn how to capture, analyze and troubleshoot wired and wireless network traffic using OmniPeek. The WP-200 course also includes the topics of Decodes; Data Capture; Statistics; TCP and UDP conversations.
