Capturing Every Packet

WildPackets OmniAdapter 10G is designed to pass network traffic directly to disk, eliminating the need for buffer-handling. OmniAdapter 10G ensures that no packets are lost between the network and storage, and that network engineers have all the data they need for fast, accurate analysis.

Capturing packets at full line rate, the OmniAdapter 10G merges both streams of the full-duplex traffic using synchronized timestamps. The OmniAdapter 10G can also slice and filter packets at full-line rate speeds in order to focus the traffic stream and optimize analysis. The OmniAdapter 10G works in full- or half-duplex environments, fiber, in-line, or via a switch’s port mirror. WildPackets OmniEngine has the ability to do multiple in-line or port mirrors analysis on both sides of a conversation.

OmniAdapter 10G is a high performance, full-duplex 10 Gigabit Network Analyzer Card with 2x10 Gbps optical interfaces that has been optimized for monitoring and troubleshooting traffic on 10 Gigabit Ethernet network.
