OmniAdapters

The OmniAdapter is a PCI-E card that supports up to 2 full-duplex or 4 half-duplex connections. Taking advantage of a PCI-E bus that clocks up to 133 MHz, the OmniAdapter provides high-performance connectivity for monitoring and troubleshooting Gigabit networks.

The OmniAdapter is available in four different configurations with interchangeable SFPs or fixed 10/100/1000 RJ45 connectors:

Four SFP cages
Four RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T ports
Two RJ45 10/100/1000Base-T ports and two SFP cages

OmniAdapters 10G

WildPackets’ OmniAdapter 10G is a high performance one-port adapter that has been optimized for monitoring and inspecting traffic on 10 Gigabit Ethernet network. OmniAdapter 10G is available in PCI-E with 1x850nm MFF XFP or; 1x1310nm SMF XFP optical transceivers with LC connectors.
