When you install WANPeek NX, the installer sends a secure message to a web server located at WildPackets. The installer sends the following information: serial number, product information, name, company name, and an ID number associated with your computer. This process will assist us in reducing software piracy, as we can insure that our software is used solely by authorized customers. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at WildPackets Technical Support. To open traces from other vendors, you must use the WildPackets ProConvert utility. ProConvert 3.0 can convert traces to and from the following WAN analyzer formats:
Yes, WANPeek NX can save in *.csv, *.txt, *.rft, and *.html. WANPeek NX will analyze embedded protocols. In addition to a full range of embedded protocols, WANPeek NX includes the following WAN protocol decodes:
WANPeek NX can provide many of the capture functions of the NetScout probe. In addition to capturing packets, WANPeek NX provides Expert Analysis and packet decodes. Depending on the interfaces and functionality required, WANPeek NX could be used as an alternative to the NetScout probe. |
